The closest thing to free money on this page: 75% of your organic certification costs back, up to $750 per certification scope, and there are five scopes (crops, wild crops, livestock, processing/handling, state organic program fees). Non-competitive — no ranking, no match, no proposal. You paid a certifier, you send FSA the receipts, you get paid. Anyone charging a fee to "file your OCCSP" is charging you to fill in a short form at a county office.
Certified organic operations. Eligible costs include application and administrative fees, inspection fees and inspector travel/per diem, state organic program fees, user fees and sales assessments, and postage for certification materials. Deadline 31 December 2026 covers BOTH the 2025 and 2026 program years. Apply at your local USDA Service Center or a participating state agency — not both for the same scope.
